Sunday= The sun shines + A beautiful day
After about a week of having countless heavy rain here, at last the sun rise and shines. While waiting for my study mood, I would like to share with you about a hero, Daddy. Somebody said my dad is a low class English teacher because he only teach at primary school with SPM qualification. However, I'm proud with him. Do you know why? Because his students are now becoming successful people throughout the country. I met one, he is already have his own workshop. His business run smoothly and he told my mom that he was grateful to had a strict teacher, my dad who encourage him to study and begin his own business. Who taught you A B C and then 1 2 3 until you had a degree? After you became successful then you look down at a school teacher. Clearly reveal that this kind of person is success but not excellence.
I'm writing this article because some of my friends are shame with their daddy. They should be thankful that their dad able to work and support the family regardless whatever their occupation as long as it is legal. One of my friend shame to admit his dad is a fireman. My teacher said why would you feel like that? Because of your dad, many casualties able to survive from accident, wildfire, flood and etc. Even my grandfather became a safety guard at a stadium after retired from army. I told my friend that I'm still proud of him because he protect the stadium from any unwanted cases and he use his salary to buy books, to gain knowledge because as generation who live during colonial era nothing much he can study before. Dear friends, we know our dad the best. Try to look at him when he asleep. Can you see his tiredness? Touch his hand, feel the roughness. Look into his eyes, see the deep inside his heart because daddy always keep his feeling alone.

Jika hari ini siapa saja menjadi dewasa;
Sejarahnya dimulakan oleh seorang guru biasa
Dengan lembut sabarnya mengajar tulis-baca.
Di mana-mana dia berdiri di muka muridnya
Di sebuah sekolah mewah di lbu Kota
Di bangunan tua sekolah Hulu Terengganu
Dia adalah guru mewakili seribu buku;
Semakin terpencil duduknya di ceruk desa
Semakin bererti tugasnya kepada negara. - Usman Awang 1979
Mom and dad are parents at home while teachers/lecturers are parents at school. All of them need to be respect regardless about their races or religions.
